Australian Shipping Terms

 

  • We use Australia post express or DHL EXPRESS
  • Once payment has been received, the item will be shipped within 24 hours on a business day (UNLESS ITS A PRE-ORDER)  Ship time 1-2 business days
  • To minimize delays we recommend using your work address or an address where someone will be at home to sign for your package as your delivery address.
  • Goods may not be delivered next day due to circumstances, weather, strikes or any other external factors out of control of Abyss by Abby, Australia Post or Dhl express.
  • Tracking is available for all domestic orders.

International Shipping Terms

Once payment has been received, the item will be shipped within 24 hours on a  business days.(UNLESS ITS A PRE -ORDER) International orders will be shipped via DHL Express. Shipping time 2-5 business days from Australia

  • Deliveries can be tracked down to the minute via DHL Express' website
  • We use a signed-for delivery service. Someone will need to be in to accept your delivery. If there is no-one in to sign for the delivery, a card will be left where you can arrange re-delivery or to collect from the depot.
  • To minimize delays we recommend using your work address or an address where someone will be at home to sign for your package as your delivery address.
  • There is no Next Day Delivery option.
  • Whilst we endeavor to deliver within the stated time, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance of the destination country.
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). The prices within the online store DO NOT include relevant overseas duties and other custom charges you may occur.
  • YOU WILL NEED TO COVER THE IN-GOING CUSTOMS COST OR TAXES SHOULD ANY BE INCURRED IN SHIPPING TO YOUR DESTINATION.
  • Please do not refuse any delivery. Refused deliveries will incur the cost of the original delivery plus the return cost. Any refund made will be minus the total delivery and $50 return costs in the case of refused deliveries.

INTERNATIONAL TAXES AND CUSTOMS CHARGES

International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or Customs charges. 

All Taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you. ABYSS BY ABBY  is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order. 


PRE ORDER ITEMS 

If you purchase items together with an item which is a pre order your items will remain on hold until the pre order item arrives and will not be shipped separately. If you wish to have your orders shipped separately  you will need to make a separate purchase.

For customers who pre order, Abyss by Abby aims to deliver from the date specified. Delivery dates shown are estimates only and subject to change.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Strikes, adverse weather, power outages, loss of internet services,  etc.).

 

Lost packages 

If an item is lost it is the responsibility of the customer to locate the item once it has arrived in the country outside of Australia. We use DHL express all packages are fully traceable with a tracking number we provide. If you are not available to sign for your package you are responsible for arranging another time with your local post office to pick up your item. If your package is returned to us you will need to pay for shipping again to have it resent out.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT:

To cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify this action by e-mail, using the details provided. We will refund all monies paid using the original method received.

 

 

On delivery of the Product, you will be required to sign for delivery, unless you grant us, Dhl express or Australia post 'authority to leave'. You agree to inspect the Product for any obvious faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. 

You may grant us an 'authority to leave' with out a signature when placing your Order. If you do, you understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/our selected couriers permission to leave the parcel unattended by the front door- or where applicable, at the reception or concierge's desk- of the delivery address without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location. In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the Orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery. 

You must take care when opening the Product so as not to damage it, particular when using sharp instruments.
